OWL COMING EVENTS 2010
No January General Meeting
February 1 – Board Meeting at Gatesworth, One McKnight Place. 3:30 p.m.
February 7 – Women’s Support Group. Meeting at Salem Methodist Church, 1200 S. Lindbergh at 1-64. Visitors welcome. Park and enter behind building. Information at 314-878-8230. Meeting from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
February 9 – OWL General Meeting at Ladue Chapel, 9450 Clayton Rd. in the Fireside Room. All welcome. 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. (Note this is a new time! ) Program:
Scott Mosby, the KMOX Home Answer Man will be the featured speaker. His program “Aging in Place” will be about modifications that will make our homes safer and more comfortable over the years. Scott’s career spans over 35 years of leadership, education and advice, with experience as a carpenter, project manager and business leader, know locally and nationally. He advises and educates homeowners about best solutions on the KMOX Home Improvement Show on Saturday mornings.
Second speaker will be a Representative of the St. Louis County Police Department. This speaker will talk about safety tips for women as they travel in public.
